Ever since Netflix’s war against VPN services began, we cannot remember the last time we streamed Netflix using a VPN without any hassle. Lately, we have introduced regular tests designed to check whether the most popular VPN services still work with Netflix and the results are disappointing more often than not. Netflix is blacklisting servers at the speed of light and VPN services have to work hard to keep up. In this post, we will report on our most recent findings regarding VyprVPN’s ability to provide its users with the possibility to stream US Netflix.
A Relative Success
The shortest possible answer to the question whether VyprVPN works with Netflix is: yes, it does. However, it’s not that simple. Throughout 2016, VyprVPN experienced difficulties in providing its users with access to Netflix. To be more specific, most of the time, it was not possible to access the popular entertainment company’s content using this VPN service. However, VyprVPN did not give up. It worked hard on coming up with new solutions and dealing with Netflix’s mighty trackers that managed to render most of its competitors useless in this respect. In the year of 2017, things started looking up and VyprVPN once again found its place among the most powerful VPN services that are bringing its users the pleasure of viewing US Netflix content.
At the moment, VyprVPN is still doing well. However, this does not mean that you can stream US Netflix no matter which VyprVPN US server you choose. Some servers work, most of them do not. We also have to warn you that streaming Netflix on a mobile device using VyprVPN is not really possible. Instead, you should opt for desktop or laptop and be patient when going through the service’s list of US servers. It might not be as effortless as we would all like it to be, but at least it is still possible to stream Netflix using this service. Most VPN services out there no longer offer this option, so we have to praise VyprVPN for still going strong and fighting for its users’ (questionable) right to unblock any content they want to access.
